Medications plug-in v 1.1
for Palmedic v 2.0

by J Rick Adams and JRAd consulting, Inc.

Overview
========

The medications plug-in provides the means to enter medication data into a patient record, including medication name, dose, frequency, route, comments, and start and stop dates. The plug-in allows for the printing and/or faxing of scripts based on entered medication data, and provides a means to log medications with which a patient has been treated. A comprehensive database of over 300 drugs is included with the plug-in to allow for rapid entry of commonly used drugs, including available doses and common routes. The database can be edited by the user from within Palmedic using the medication plug-in module.

The plug-in provides access to drug information by linking to K2 consultant's LexiDrugs 97 seamlessly. Simply tap on the reference icon in the upper right hand corner of the medication module, and LexiDrugs 97 is automatically opened to that medication entry in its database.
